DESCRIPTION:Using monthly themed challenges\, 3D print club aims to give patrons opportunities to become familiar with 3D design and the practical applications of 3D printing. Participants will use Tinkercad to design their project and print-out their item on the 3D printer.\n\nThe focus of the club is to use and explore with Tinkercad\, which you are welcome to get started doing RIGHT NOW! TInkercad.com is a free platform with tutorials built in\, so this is the best place to get started with 3D design basics. \n\nThis class intended for kids aged 9 and up\, as the Tinkercad platform we are using can be a little tricky for kids unfamiliar with computers. If your family is interested in coming anyway\, please go to Tinkercad.com and set up an account and start the tutorials\, to see if it is something the child is interested and capable of doing.\n\nIf a family wants to bring in their own laptop\, they do not need to register\, the registration limit is set based on the number of laptops we have to offer. Tinkercad is almost impossible on a tablet\, so you will need something with a mousepad.\n\nMy plan is to set up printing appointments with participants at the class\, we will not have time to print out objects during the class itself.\n\nThank you for your interest.
