DESCRIPTION:The monks of Drepung Loseling Monastery will construct Medicine Buddha sand mandala by pouring millions of grains of colored sand into place over a period of days.\nThe Medicine Buddha is the Buddha for health and living.\nThere will be a community sand painting for the visitors to create.\n\nOpening Ceremony                         March 8    4PM\nMandala Construction &Viewing       March 9-14    Noon – 6PM\n                                                    March 15    Noon -2PM  \nDaily Meditation & Chanting            March 8-14    5:30PM-6PM \nThe Drepung Loseling monks will lead chant and meditation sessions st the end of each day's construction\, giving the public an opportunity to meditate with them.
