DESCRIPTION:The Occidental Arts and Ecology Center will hold its annual Spring Plant Sale fundraiser on Saturday\, April 4 and Sunday\, April 5. Plant Sale hours are 9am - 5pm. Admission is free.  There will also be a Plant Sale the following weekend\, April 11 and 12\, also 9am ­- 5pm.  We will be selling hundreds of open-pollinated\, heirloom and rare varieties - an even wider selection than ever before! All are California Certified Organic - many started from our own seed collection - and have been trialed\, tasted\, and savored for years in our demonstration gardens and kitchen.  This sale features early Spring crops such as lettuces\, peas\, broccoli\, kale\, cabbage\, chards\, onions\, leeks\, and herbs. We will also offer a wide array of perennial food crops\, medicinal and culinary herbs and permaculture plants as well as many plants of ethnobotanical interest from around the world.
