DESCRIPTION:The Sebastopol Community Cultural Center invites you to celebrate the country's Hispanic/Latinx Heritage Month with us on Sept. 17th for an unforgettable afternoon of entertainment from . Luther Burbank Center for the Arts\, Mariachi Cantares de mi Tierra and Ballet Folkl rico\, El Vall  de St. Helena. El Valle de St. Helena\, a non-profit Mexican Folk Dance Group that teaches young & old the traditional dances of Mexico located in St. Helena\, CA. Ballet Folkl rico has been danced for hundreds of years and can be traced all the way back to ceremonial dances of indigenous people. The term means\, Dances of the People\, which is why the dance style encompasses several traditional dance techniques from Mexico's different regions. Luther Burbank Center for the Arts in Santa Rosa is home to "Mariachi Cantares de Mi Tierra\," which is part of a year-round program serving 115+ students ages 9-18. Jose Soto\, Jr. is an award-winning local musician who performs violin with his family ensemble\, Mariachi Barragan and Music Specialist for the LBC directs this Mariachi Ensemble. Mexican Mariachi music is made to move you. It is direct\, driving\, and designed to instill emotion.
