SUMMARY:Sebastopol Art Walk
DESCRIPTION:Much of Sebastopol's outdoor art goes unnoticed as we race around town with our busy schedules. On this 5-mile walk we slow down and look at some of our wonderful murals\, sculptures and carvings\, and meet some of the artists whose work is on display. Starting at the Plaza hear a short presentation about City support for public art. We walk Florence Avenue to see Patrick Amiot's sculptues\, visit the Sebastopol Center for the Arts\, then proceed to Ragle Ranch to the Peace Park to hear about the lady in the tree carving. Returning to the Plaza by noon\, we pass the dramatic architectural style of the house of a well known local artist. Bring snacks\, water\, sunscreen\, and good walking shoes. Leader: Simon Lowings
