Analy Arts 2016 Presents: A Midsummer Night's Dream

Ever wonder what would happen if Shakespeare met the Beatles and Led Zeppelin?  You’ll just have to come see Analy Arts’ fall production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream!!

It’s the 400th year since Shakespeare’s death and time to do one of his plays.  But the year is not 1595 but 1969, and it’s Athens alright but not Greece…it’s Ohio!  Hermia and Lysander are dropping out and tuning in while Demetrius, being Egeus preppy pet, is still vying for her hand.  The two young hippie lovers run off to the forest where they encounter, unknowingly, the real psychedelia realm of Titania and Oberon.  Now the action really begins! Groovy, baby!  But don’t forget Pepper Quince and her band of mechanicals/wannabe jug band players.  

Performances are Nov. 11, 12, 17, 18, 19 at 7:00 pm and 2 matinees Nov. 13 and 19 at 2:00 pm.  

Beatles sing-a-longs on Sat. performances with Mr. Music and Bob Cullinen.

Benefit performance Thursday Nov. 17th for Mr. Music Foundation.  

Ticket prices: $10 for General Admission, $8 for Students/Seniors at brownpapertickets.com.  

At the door: $15, $12 and $5 for Students w/ ID.  Analy High School, Sebastopol.
