nother Trip Around the Sun An Evening of Grateful Dead & Jam Band Magic Friday, August 21st | Doors 6pm, Music 6:30pm Sebastopol Community Cultural Center, 390 Morris St, Sebastopol, CA Join us for a cosmic celebration of music and community as Sebastopol Community Cultural Center hosts an unforgettable night of Grateful Dead-inspired jams, featuring an all-star lineup of Bay Area favorites. Anna Elva brings her dynamic, pulse-driven drumming to the stage, fresh off collaborations with Stu Allen & Mars Hotel and the celebrated 40th Grateful Waltz, where she shared the stage with some of the scene's brightest stars. Scott Guberman, acclaimed keyboardist known for his work with Phil Lesh and Friends and his deep, soulful command of the Hammond B3, brings decades of Grateful Dead expertise to every note he plays. Mark Karan, the legendary lead guitarist who anchored Bob Weir & RatDog for over a decade, lends his soulful, blues-infused style and unmistakable guitar voodoo to the night's performance. JP McLean rounds out the rhythm section on bass and vocals, bringing his steady groove from his work with Melvin Seals & JGB and the broader Northern California jam scene. Opening the celebration: Slowstring, a new folk music project featuring Sarah Ryan and Jimbo Scott, adding their own flavor to the night's musical journey. This special show doubles as a milestone birthday celebration for Aaron K. and a benefit for the Sebastopol Community Cultural Center, come dance, donate, and celebrate community, music, and another trip around the sun!
