Walker Creek Music Camp Presents Teacher Concert Series IV Benefit Concert Celebrating American Roots Music The concert supports Walker Creek Music Camp’s mission to provide world-class music education and expand access to traditional roots music through classes, youth programs, and scholarships. The evening will feature these outstanding faculty and alumni performing bluegrass, old-time, jazz, and swing: Walker Creek All-Stars A “supergroup” of current and former instructors featuring: Yoseff Tucker (guitar), Tod Livingston (dobro), Bethany Raine Sorkey (bass), Paul Shelasky (fiddle), Ryan Breen (banjo), and Tom Bekeny (mandolin). Hildaland A duo blending Scottish and American traditions featuring fiddler Louise Bichan and mandolin virtuoso Ethan Setiawan. Pacific Drive A high-energy bluegrass band formed at Walker Creek Music Camp featuring Dana Frankel, David Thiessen, Jesse Fichman, Helen Foley, and Sam Reed. About Walker Creek Music Camp Founded in 2013, Walker Creek Music Camp is a California nonprofit dedicated to teaching, preserving, and celebrating American roots music. The camp offers world-class instruction for students of all ages and hosts sessions twice each year at Walker Creek Ranch Conference Center. The camp’s Music & More (M&M’s) youth program provides tuition-free instruction for children ages 6–13, along with scholarships and work-trade opportunities that help make music education accessible to all.
