Join us for an extraordinary film about the wild birds that find safe haven in Central Park, and equally about their attitude-rich, binocular-wielding admirers who adapt their own rhythms to the migrations of their colorful friends.
While filmmaker Jeffrey Kimball grew up in Marin County and always loved animals, he did not develop his passion for birds until he moved to New York City. There, in Central Park, he became fascinated with the question of how wildlife survives in an urban environment. He is now a dedicated birder and cinematographer. Mr. Kimball serves on the Board of Point Blue Conservation Science.
*Bonus Bird Migration Walk & Talk on Sunday, September 25, 8:30am
Bird walk is only open for the $75 ticket holders. We will see migrating birds of the Laguna de Santa Rosa and hear about their incredible journeys. Meeting location: Laguna Environmental Center, Santa Rosa, CA.
