American Red Cross training and certification in CPR, AED use, and first aid for adults, children, and infants. First Aid includes training in the recognition and treatment of choking, sudden illness, injuries, and environmental emergencies. This class meets EMSA requirements for CPR and first aid training for childcare providers. Childcare providers and preschool teachers may be required to take this course. Others who have or work with children will find this class valuable as well! Parents, teachers, nannies, babysitters, au pairs, etc. are encouraged to have this training. American Red Cross e-card certifications (valid for two years) are provided on the same day. Vive CPR is a Sebastopol-based business offering American Heart Association and American Red Cross CPR, First Aid, and BLS (Basic Life Support for healthcare providers) classes in Sonoma County and beyond. Our instructor Aaron Bates is a professional first responder with real-world knowledge and a passion for teaching. Aaron has worked throughout the San Francisco Bay Area in the field as a paramedic and firefighter/paramedic, as well as at a fast-paced trauma center.
