Free Reading Tour of Hell

Starting on Saturday, June 9, 2016, at 11:00 AM the Sebastopol Regional Library hosts a free reading tour of Hell – Book 1 of Dante’s Divine Comedy.

We'll be tackling Dante’s Hell, reading it aloud, and then discussing what we’ve read. This is a perfect way to read (or read again) a classic work, bring alive the written word, and learn more about this beguiling poem.  Participants are encouraged to pick up the Dorothy Sayers translation at their local bookstore, or contact the library for a copy.

The reading events continue on August 6 at 2:00 pm and September 10 at 2:00 pm. 

The events are free and open to all.  The Friends of the Sebastopol Library provides the financial support to make these events possible.
