Extended coding class to help close the gender gap in technology.
"Computing skills are a critical path to security and prosperity in today’s job market, Computing is where the jobs are — and where they will be in the future, but fewer than 1 in 5 computer science graduates are women".
Wednesdays: 10/10, 10/17, 10/24, 10/31, 11/7, 11/14, 11/21, 11/28, 12/12
Registration is required, students must attend all sessions. We will accept 15 young women, grades 7th-12th. Drop by the Library to pick up an application, and/or contact Rosalie Abbott at the Sebastopol Regional Library (rabbott@sonomalibrary.org) for more information.
