North Bay Science Discovery Day 2027

North Bay Science Discovery Day is a free, one-day community science festival for children and families taking place on Sunday, May 2, 2027 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Sonoma County Fairgrounds. The event brings together 100+ organizations offering 150+ hands-on science, technology, engineering, and math activities, including rockets, robots, animals, art, health, engineering, nature, and more. Youth can meet scientists, engineers, educators, and volunteers while exploring interactive exhibits throughout Grace Pavilion, Hall of Flowers, Kraft, and Garrett Buildings. Admission and parking are free, and no tickets are required. North Bay Science Discovery Day takes place concurrently with the Sonoma County 4-H Chicken Que and Open House, a long-running 4-H community fundraiser and open house held in the Saralee Barn.
