Painting Produce - 2 Day Watercolor Workshop

In this 2 week introductory course, participants will learn a unique approach to watercolor, intended to alleviate the frustration that many experience when learning this beautiful yet challenging medium. The class will practice basic drawing in addition to watercolor technique, with a focus on strengthening one’s observational skills while learning a step by step layering process that trains the artist to see value and color. Our unifying subject will be seasonal produce - fruits, veggies and herbs, that we will render from life. These subjects are great for beginners and experienced watercolor painters alike; their organic shapes make them forgiving drawing subjects, but their beauty can be a muse for life. All experience levels welcome and all materials provided.
