Sandy Eastoak: Wild Prayer ~ Listening to Nature

Artist Talk: Friday, September 7, 6:30 pm "Painting with All Our Relations" Show open August 13 thru September 6 My paintings are prayers for ecological abundance and health. My response to the sorrow of forests falling and species lost is to use color and texture to explore what I hear plants and animals telling us about the great mystery. This process bestows the bliss of entering the flow of nature's own longing. The paintings chosen for this show were created in the sensation of the intelligence and love of wild beings—for each other and for us. I begin by praying for the wild and end by hearing the wild’s own prayer.
