Presenter’s Current Affiliation and Brief Bio:

Dan Chapin, a California native, began his career as an Information Systems and Business Analyst in the wine business with Robert Mondavi Winery and Allied Domecq Wine & Spirits USA. Dan joined several start-up ventures in the wine business technology space including Inertia Beverage Group (Wine Direct), Artisan Media, and Vintegrate Winery Software.  His most recent endeavors include the launch of Left Coast Marketing & Wine Country Lifestyle Magazine working with a creative team to provide Digital Marketing, Design & Print, Photography, & Custom Publishing services with over 75 clients on the "Left Coast" and beyond.

Join us as Dan Chapin, digital marketing guru, shows you how to run your business from a tablet with various applications and tools. Topics will include: The Cloud - Doc Management, Customer Relationship Manager (CRM), Email Marketing, Website Builder, Social Media tools.

In today’s world it has never been easier for small businesses to leverage technology to support their operations in a scalable and efficient manner. In fact, the technology has become so advanced from the software applications that small businesses rely on to the computer hardware and mobile devices that run the software, it has never been more affordable and accessible than it is today.

So where does one begin when setting up their business? We will review several best of breed business tools spanning the worlds of CRM (Customer Relationship Management), Sales, Marketing, and Bookkeeping/Accounting. We will also review several popular solutions for document management and collaboration. And the best part...once you are up and running these tools require only that you be plugged into the internet and the work location/destination is up to you.

At the end of this workshop, participants should be able to:

1. Familiarity with web-enabled business applications
2. Familiarity with CRM & Sales solutions
3. Familiarity with QuickBooks Online
