The Rotary Club of Sebastopol Sunrise proudly presents the 21th Annual Sonoma County Cajun Zydeco & Delta Rhythm Festival: two days of exceptional music, food, and fun in the Mississippi River Delta tradition occurring over the Labor Day Weekend, September 3 and 4, 2016 in Sebastopol, California.

Saturday, September 3, 2016

1. Jeffery Broussard and the Creole Cowboys headline on Saturday September 3^rd. The award-winning Louisiana band has earned national recognition, and showcases the accordion mastery and soulful vocals of Jeffrey Broussard, from the legendary band Zydeco Force.

Noted instructor Dana de Simone will offer free dance lessons between sets.

Sunday September 4, 2016

1. Zigaboo Modeliste and the New Aahkesstra(Ziggy the virtuoso drummer of The Meters, one of the best known and most influential of all New Orleans bands)
2. The Great Henry Butler (the king of New Orleans jazz, stride, and blues piano)
3. Maria Muldaur and her Red Hot Bluesiana Band (Maria of “Midnight at the Oasis” fame and collaborator with Dr. John, Jerry Garcia, and many others).
4. Sonoma County’s own Frobeck, a young band that has garnered multiple music awards and Grammy interest, will kick off the fun on Sunday with its reimagined Tower of Power funk sound.

Location

As in years past, the Festival plays out in beautiful Ives Parks, Sebastopol, where visitors will dance under the redwoods, dine on fine Creole food, and enjoy superb wine, beer, and drink.

Time and Pricing
Time is 11:30 to 7:00 pm both days. Tickets for the weekend are $40 in advance, $50 the day of the show; single days are $25 in advance and $30 the day of the show. Children under 12 are admitted free.
