Tibetan Monks at Sebastopol Farmers' Market

As a part of the Sacred Earth & Healing Arts of Tibet Tour, the monks of Gaden Shartse Monastery will come to the Farmers' Market ! They will be selling items to benefit the monastery. Also, there will be a short prayer for the community. Gaden Shartse Monastery is committed to preserving the Tibetan culture and its traditions. The mission of the Gaden Shartse Monastery Earth and Healing Arts of Tibet Tour is to help create a peace community as we work together toward World Peace. We foster interfaith dialogue and understanding, as we share the Tibetan culture with the Western World, thereby helping Gaden Shartse Monastery raise funds to educate, feed, house, and care for the more than 1,600 Tibetan Monks in residence. All proceeds benefit Gaden Shartse Cultural Foundation, a 50C3 non-profit organization helping the exiled Gaden Shartse Monastery in Southern India and preserving Tibetan Culture.
