In her new book, TreeGirl: Intimate Encounters with Wild Nature, photographer and arborist Julianne Skai Arbor brings us into intimate contact with 50 species of trees from 13 countries, weaving stunning nude photography, natural history, ethnobotany, conservation, and the ecopsychology of the human-tree relationship.
Photography Exhibit 12–5pm. Book Launch/Slide show 2pm.
Q&A, book sales and signing after readings/slide show.
Admission: FREE!
All donations happily accepted.
Delectable ethnobotanical tree refreshments, live music by Richard Heinberg and Gaia String Trio, opening intro by OAEC’s Brock Dolman.
