Foster Family Agency Social Worker (PART-TIME position, estimated 20-25 hours per week)

Under the supervision of the Foster Family and Adoption Program Director, this position provides support services to foster children and resource families.

  • Skills in completing assessments and comprehensive written reports.
  • Capacity to be flexible as a community-based social worker to meet with clients in their homes.
  • The ability to work collaboratively with resource parents and community partners to meet the needs of foster children.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • A commitment to embody TLC’s mission and values.
  • A Master’s degree in a social science related field (MSW preferred) or a BA in a related field with experience in the field of child welfare.
  • CA driver’s license and capacity to use own vehicle for company travel is required (mileage compensation provided).
  • Bilingual in Spanish is preferred but not required.

Starting wage range: $31.07/hr – $36.02/hr, depending on experience.

The salary range for this role may vary above and below the posted range, as determined by experience and licensure. Compensation takes into account several factors, including, but not limited to, a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure and certifications, departmental equity, training, and organizational needs.
