Lecture Series by H.G. Gala Rinpoche: Tibet today: A History
As a part of 'The Mystical Art of Tibet' tour of the monks of Drepung Loseling Monastery, hosted bt the Tibetan Gallery & Studio in the Barlow, H.G. Gala Rinpoche will be giving lectures. On this day, the lecture focuses on the contemporary Tibet situation: the invasion by Communist China in the 1950's, the efforts of the refugees in exile to preserve their civilization, and the situation in occupied Tibet. The lecture will conclude with a prayer for peace. Suggested donation $15
