Sebastopol Lion's Chili Cookoff

Chili Cookoff Overview: Date: Sunday, September 22, 2024 Place: Sebastopol Center for the Arts, 282 S. High Street, Sebastopol Time: Doors open at 11:00 am for set up and decorations. Open for tasting to public at Noon and ends at 4:00 pm Judging: The Peoples Choice Award will be announced at 3:45pm What will be provided: 10 x 10 space and table 4 oz cups and spoons for tastings People’s Choice Voting Box for each team Contestants: Event is Free to Contestants Bring 3 gallons of prepared chili for public tasting Crockpot or other device to keep the chili warm. Gloves for people serving chili, serving spoon or ladle Serve approximately 3 oz to each ticket holder Chili booth signage identifying your team name, decorations, props, costumes, etc. (no tack or staples – painters tape only) If your team wishes to provide optional condiments (cheese, onions, etc), they must be prepared off site and ready to serve. **Note: No kitchen is available for preparing, cooking or cleaning.
