Yoga for Healthy Bones with Kate + Vickie Learn how yoga can help you protect and build bone health. Have you been told you have osteoporosis? Or do you worry that you’re at risk? Yoga can be a wonderful way to support your bone health, both by helping to build stronger bones and the muscles that support them, and by teaching you safer ways to move. Yoga also helps build balance which in turn can help prevent falls. Find out more with veteran instructors Kate Harding and Vickie Morse. We will explore the myths and facts around yoga and osteoporosis. Learn the do's and don'ts to keep you safe and able to continue to do the things you love while minimizing the risk of falls and fractures. This two-hour workshop will include lecture and movement, ending with a special practice tailored for bone health and safety. No previous yoga experience necessary.
